To trick the eye and make the ceilings appear higher we laid the chevron pattern vertically instead of horizontal. The glass tile picks up the perfect amount of shimmer from the chandelier. ![]() ![]() I selected a mosaic tile ( Alato Beachwalk from The Tile Shop) in neutral tones with a fun pattern. I wanted to a create a moment, a wow factor, a statement, extending this accent tile to the ceiling did precisely that. A satin finish was used on the cabinets with an eggshell finish on the walls. I used Sherwin Williams City Loft (7631) paint. To open a small space painting the cabinets and the walls the same color can make the area appear more significant. They always say the details make the room and that is indeed the case in here.
